If you are breastfeeding, some people say it affects their baby’s sleep, and others say they do not notice any difference.
Jane says: “What helped me in the worst of it was drinking loads of chamomile tea [infusion]. I love coffee, but switching to decaf coffee or chamomile helped me to cope better with the tiredness, in a roundabout way. I was more calm, and just ‘riding it’, rather than exhausted but bouncing.
Now I drink coffee if I know I’ll be out all day (I love coffee!), or decaf if I’m going to have a nap.”
