A charity supporting parents of premature babies.  The Bliss Family Services Helpline offers advice and support to families and friends of anyone with a baby who is in, or has been in, neonatal care. Free helpline.

Cry-sis offers support for families with excessively crying, sleepless and demanding babies. Their phone lines are open seven days a week, 9am-10pm. Or email info@cry-sis.org.uk. (Please note that the number is not free to call).

Single parents, free helpline (weekdays, daytime). More information about their helpline and opening hours here. Gingerbread provide expert advice, practical support and campaign for single parents. They also offer groups and online discussion boards.

Home Start
This charity sends a volunteer to visit your family’s home for a couple of hours every week. The website can direct you to local help.

It’s easy to underestimate the effect that your relationship can have on your family dynamic and sleep patterns.  At the same time, disrupted sleep can put a strain on the best of relationships.  You can book a session for relationship counselling, phone them, use email counselling, or try live chat online. (Please note that Relate charge for their services and the number is not free to call). Relate also have a specific section on Family life and parenting.
