When you are tired it can be really hard to get out of the house, but it’s important to avoid feeling isolated. Even if you can’t make it out you can always pick up the phone to someone, including the helplines listed here.
Going to playgroups, seeing friends or even just people-watching in a cafe or park may all help to boost your mood. If you don’t have any friends with children or any local friends then you will need to put in some initial effort getting out and about to groups and being extra-friendly to meet people, but it will be well worth it in the long run.
